Broad range, one accountable firm
Most fabricators pick a narrow lane. We have deliberately kept the range wide, because the jobs that come to us rarely sit neatly inside one category — a staircase brings a balustrade, a mezzanine brings flooring and a handrail, a canopy brings framework.
Keeping all of it in one works means one drawing set, one weld standard, one trial erection and one team on site, rather than three suppliers blaming each other when something does not line up.
Fabrication is carried out to your specification and in accordance with the latest regulations and British Standards, and carries CE and UKCA marking.

Specialist machinery
Bespoke machines, automated handling and conveying systems are the work the business was founded on in 1968, and they are still built here alongside the fabrication.
It is not the main focus of what we do today, but it is the reason a fabrication job at Tri-Dev gets an engineer’s eye rather than only a welder’s.

How we work
From idea to finished install, all in-house
Design & CAD
25+ years using in-house CAD — 2D or 3D drawings produced electronically in AutoCAD and refined with you as the design develops.
Fabrication
Built in-house by our dedicated team, to your specification and in accordance with the latest regulations and British Standards.
Testing
All products are tested and trial-erected in-house as required, before they’re ever installed on site.
Delivery & Install
Our own team delivers and installs the finished steelwork, anywhere in the UK.
Accredited
Checked, carded and marked
The paperwork a main contractor asks for before anyone sets foot on site.
CE and UKCA marking, CHAS accreditation and CSCS cards for every employee and sub-contractor on site.

Steelwork that travels
We are a single-works fabricator that installs the length of the country. That combination is the whole proposition — one team accountable from the first drawing to the last fixing.
Made in one place
Every job is drawn, cut, welded and trial-erected at the same works. There is no second fabricator in the chain and no variation in who did the work.
Delivered by us
Our own transport and our own team, so the steel arrives with people who know how it was built and what it has to meet on site.
Proved before it ships
Assemblies are tested and trial-erected in-house as required. On a job three hundred miles away, that is the difference between a fitting day and a return visit.

What does Tri-Dev make?
Structural steel, balustrades and handrails including glass railings and Q-railing, bespoke fabrication, welding, and delivery and installation. We also still build specialist machinery.
Do you cover both small and large jobs?
Yes. We cover small to large fabrications for architectural, industrial and agricultural projects.
Is everything made in-house?
Yes. Design in AutoCAD, fabrication, testing and trial-erection are all carried out at our own works, and installation is by our own team.
Where do you work?
Across the United Kingdom. Fabrication happens at one works and our own team installs on site nationwide.
